After completing a degree in business, I studied underwriting and also completed CIC courses in Property, General Liability, Personal Lines, and Agency Management.  At Olson & Olson Ltd, I provide service for commercial accounts and my goal is to provide the best possible service in handling the insurance needs of each client.

I've been in the insurance business longer than I ever thought I would be!  I have been part of  Olson & Olson Ltd since its beginnings and proud to have been part of its steady growth and success.  I love to provide service to our clients with a smile and provide all the "behind the scene" work unique to our customer exposures and requests.  My goal is to help end my client's frustrations and make them smile or even laugh.  Laughing is good!

I tumbled into the commercial insurance industry in 1998 and been hooked ever since.  I have worked with a wide variety of  Insureds from general contractors to geologists to entrepreneurs to lawyers and car salesmen.  I joined Olson & Olson, Ltd. as an Account Manager and I assist in maintaining and cross-selling our small business accounts.  My goal is to expand my knowledge base and gain the trust and respect from my Insureds.  In my spare time, I love spending time in the Rocky Mountains and I love animals and especially enjoy working with rescued pit bulls.

I have been in  Personal Lines insurance for 20+ years and recently moved over to the Commercial side.  I love every moment of being able to  take care of my clients.  I am fairly new to Olson & Olson Ltd and am looking forward to working directly with my clients to provide them with the best possible service they deserve.  At Olson & Olson Ltd we pride ourselves in always going the extra step to make sure our clients get the best service and coverages for their needs.  In my free time I enjoy cooking and gardening.

I have been in the safety profession for 26 years, as my dream of becoming a rock star back in the 80’s never materialized. (Could have been the hair!)  I started my career as the environmental and safety coordinator for a large roofing and engineering company and then moved into construction safety, working for several large contractors and subcontractors around the country. In 2005, I started my career in the insurance industry as a loss control specialist for an agency in the Denver area before coming to Olson & Olson Ltd as the Vice president of Risk Management Services. My goal for our clients is to be a resource they can go to for answers to questions, support for implementing safety programs, training, workplace audits and any other safety and/or environmental concerns they may have.  In my spare time, I work out or play one of my guitars -usually the blue one, which is also my favorite color. 

I began my career in insurance in Georgia.  From there, I moved to California and worked on the carrier side in Employee Benefits.  I transitioned to the broker side, working on very large municipalities and government agencies of up to 21,000 employees for a large brokerage firm. When my husband retired from the Marine Corps, we relocated to Colorado where I worked for a regional broker in Northern Colorado.  I have served as President of the Colorado State Association of Health Underwriters and continue to advocate for our clients through this organization.  Recently, I joined the Olson & Olson, Ltd. team and am thrilled to be a part of a growing vibrant team.  In my spare time, my husband and I volunteer at several Veterans Organizations as well as many animal rescue organizations.  We have long since fallen in love with the Colorado weather, mountains and people and we are blessed with 3 adult daughters and 6 grandchildren. 

I sincerely love what I do for a living: helping employers develop long term employee benefits, compensation and HR strategies for themselves and their employees.  For almost 20 years I've worked with Front Range employers with anywhere from 2 to 5000 employees, bringing them clear, concise and actionable direction on how to deal with the ever-changing, ever more complicated health insurance market and their associated regulations and requirements.  Olson & Olson. Ltd. offers a truly unique value proposition to the prospects and clients I work with and is why I feel so lucky to work with these guys.  We have really robust, "large shop" resources across all lines of risk that we bring to the table for our clients but we have a true "anti-large shop" team culture in the office.  We bring the same level of service, the same team of folks to every client we work with and don't let corporate red tape get in the way of giving you the service you deserve.  My family roots are Scandinavian (my name probably gave that away) and from Maine.  I grew up in Boulder and now live in Golden.  My Wife is a professional singer/song writer and our amazing kids are in school in Golden, Broomfield and Montana.

Insurance recently fell into my lap when I moved to the big city of Denver but I've learned an immense amount since joining Olson & Olson Ltd. In addition to being the first voice you hear when you call Olson & Olson Ltd, I do my best to help our Account Managers  in service to our customers.  My goal is to help make that service as effective and efficient as possible. I enjoy working with the great team at Olson & Olson Ltd. In my free time you will find me volunteering with a youth group, spending time with family, and cheering on my favorite sports teams.

I graduated from Western State College and earned a B.A. in Accounting and Business.  After college, I took to the skies to pursue my love for travel. After a few years of travel, I worked for a Denver accounting firm providing audit, tax, accounting support and consulting services for various businesses, including construction, real estate, and oil and gas.  I brought 7 years of accounting experience to Olson & Olson, Ltd. where I am currently the Controller.   Recently, I have taken on the challenges of the world of surety bonds.  I look forward to working more closely with our customers for all their surety needs.  I am also a licensed insurance agent, a member of the Construction Financial Management Association, and a member of The Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business. 

I grew up on the eastern plains in Colorado, but ventured to the big city of Denver and found an exciting career in the world of insurance.  Currently, I am a Personal Lines Account Executive at Olson & Olson, Ltd.  I have extensive training and experience in development, underwriting, and administration of all type of personal insurance.  I have earned CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative), AINS (Associate in General Insurance).  My goal is to provide my clients with personal insurance programs tailored to their individual needs and budgets. 

I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with my bachelor's degree in Communication.  After working in the TV news business for a couple of years, I decided it was not for me.  I took a leap of faith and stepped into a whole new career field.  I joined Olson & Olson Ltd as an administrative assistant and after learning from the best of the best in insurance, I moved to the Personal Insurance Department as a personal insurance specialist.   I really enjoy talking and helping customers with their insurance problems.  Whether that could be an outstanding claim that needs more attention or a small question that a customer has, I try my best to make myself available at all times!  Outside the office I am a typical Colorado guy who likes to take my dog for hikes, camping in the summer, and skiing the slopes in the winter.  

After graduating with a B.S. in Computer Science, I worked at the local utility company in IT and also the Customer Service side of the business, including programming, project management, process management, remittance, and billing.  I moved to project management with IBM and worked with the local utility as well as with several other utilities in the deregulated electric market implementation in Texas. When Olson & Olson Ltd opened its doors, they needed someone to answer the phones.  In seeing the opportunity there (even though I wasn't very qualified for the position) here I am!  I work as the Office Manager for Olson & Olson, Ltd. which means IT, process management, and general administrative stuff that no one else should be bothered with.  My goal is to make everyone else’s job easier and more effective and efficient.  In my spare time, you will find me finding a new app to make Olson & Olson Ltd more nimble, traveling to visit my children, or working on a quilt.

I am a current Senior at the University of Colorado Denver, and will be graduating with a degree in Finance.  I joined Olson & Olson Ltd in order to assist with the accounting and general office duties. My goal is to assist with all office needs, in order to help the office to be as efficient as possible.  Outside the office, I am a certified personal trainer, and live an active lifestyle.
